The following meetings were held regarding the Davis Street Land Use Study.  The Old Oak Cliff Conservation League attended them all and here are a few notes of concern from the neighbors about the study thus far:

Davis Street Land Use Study

A public meeting was held at Hitt Auditorium at Methodist Hospital on October 22. Attended by some 200 concerned residents, the meeting was to inform the public about a large scale rezoning effort that is being considered along Davis St. and Bishop Ave. and surrounding areas on either side of those streets. Larry Good, of Good, Fulton and Farrell, was hired to conduct the study with the input of a group of ten local developers and residents from the area. Commercial property owners and developers funded the study.

The large area was divided into seven sub-areas with each of those being treated differently by the plan.

Area 1 is along Bishop from the Bishop Arts District to Methodist Hospital. Front yard setbacks would be honored while four story
